WHMCS 8.1 is currently in Beta and is about to be released very soon (probably this 2020 year? i don’t think so.)
Where has WHMCS team been focused this .1 release?
It’s about(99%) the Client Area New Bootstrap 4 Design and child themes. Child themes? Let’s explain this further.
WHMCS is now introducing a very nice feature, child themes.
No longer do we have to zip all the files(including .tpl/php) to publish our new themes, no. We do not need to contain any longer the template files in our templates & themes, only the files we have customized, which mostly are the css files. This, as WHMCS team has explained, makes updating and maintaing of our themes easier for our clients and every designer will find this feature a superb!
